Alexis Sanchez has told Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger that Javier Hernandez would be the perfect January signing, according to Don Balon in Spain.
It is believed that Wenger is interested in bringing the Manchester United reject to the Emirates when the window opens next week.
He has revived his career by hitting prolific form for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga since his summer move - but could be on his way back to England already.
Sanchez has reportedly said that the 27-year-old Mexican would fit perfectly into the Arsenal line-up and bolster their title bid in the second half of the season.
