Real 'will bid for De Gea after CL final'

Real Madrid have been waiting to launch their bid for David De Gea until after the Champions League final, according to the Mail.
Zidane is keen on the Manchester United goalkeeper but has not wanted to disrupt current No.1 Keylor Navas’s preparations for tonight’s meeting with Juventus in Cardiff.

Szczesny's agent denies Juve deal

Wojciech Szczesny’s agent has denied the Pole has already agreed a deal to move to Juventus.
The Arsenal academy graduate has spent the last two seasons on loan at Roma but has supposedly become a target for Juve.
David Menasseh, though, told Polish newspaper Przeglad Sportowy that no deal has been agreed. He did not, however, rule out a move completely.

Van Dijk fit for a move

Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea are among the teams circling Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk this summer.
And if Saints fans were thinking his injury might prevent a move, they’ll be disappointed - he’s already looking close to full fitness.

Burnley eye Reading defender Liam Moore

Burnley are keen on Reading defender Liam Moore.
Clarets boss Sean Dyche is keen to bolster his back line, with Liverpool and Manchester United going head to head for £25million-rated Michael Keane.
Moore starred for the Royals as Jaap Stam’s side narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League after losing to Huddersfield at Wembley last week.
However, the former Leicester centre-half’s exploits have not gone unnoticed and Burnley are weighing up a move for the 24-year-old.
Moore made 47 appearances for Reading last season following his switch from the King Power.

Ravanelli wants to become Boro’s next manager

Fabrizio Ravanelli wants to become Middlesbrough’s next manager and has asked chairman Steve Gibson to call him.
Gibson has yet to decide who will be in charge at the Riverside next season following Middlesbrough’s relegation from the Premier League.
Steve Agnew, who was appointed interim head coach after Aitor Karanka’s departure in March, has held discussions with Gibson about next season but speculation persists that Garry Monk or Nigel Pearson could be appointed.
But former Boro favourite Ravanelli believes he is the man to lead what he says has the potential to be a top-10 club in England.
“I was very disappointed to see Middlesbrough relegated, for the club, for the fans, for everybody,” Ravanelli told Press Association Sport.
“But now it is important to start again. The club must show a lot of ambition because Middlesbrough has the potential to finish in the top 10 of the Premier League.
“I would love the opportunity to arrive for me to get the manager’s job at Middlesbrough.
“If Steve Gibson called me, no problem. That would be good.
“The Championship is a good league with a lot of quality teams.”

Courtois wants new Chelsea deal

Thibaut Coutois has told Sky Sports that he is keen to sign a new deal at Chelsea.
The Belgian stopper was rumoured to be unhappy at Stamford Bridge last year under Jose Mourinho but Antonio Conte has brightened his mood.
“I am very happy and there is no doubt I will stay,” he said. “My contract runs out in two years so obviously I need a new deal. It’s important I finish the season well with the national team and then maybe Chelsea will speak with my agent.
“If it’s a good deal I will be very happy to sign.”

West Brom want Gibbs

West Brom have joined the chase for Arsenal left back Kieran Gibbs.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis is interested in the 27-year-old England international who could leave the Emirates this summer.
Brighton and Newcastle are also watching developments on Gibbs who has just one year left on his contract.
It could be time for Gibbs to leave after losing his place to Nacho Monreal while Arsenal are also signing Sead Kolašinac from Schalke.
Gibbs has been a part of the first-team squad at Arsenal for almost a decade, having made his Premier League debut in 2008.
But he made just 10 appearances in the league this season, having also appeared in less than half the club’s league games the previous year.

West Ham set to loan Oxford to Gladbach

West Ham’s Reece Oxford is joining Borussia Monchengladbach on a season-long loan.
The England prospect, 18, is going to Germany to help his development as manager Slaven Bilic sees the versatile defender as a big part of the Hammers ‘ future.
Oxford has found his opportunities limited at West Ham despite signing a long-term deal.
After a disappointing loan spell at Championship playoff finalists Reading saw him make just five league appearances, they want to see him go out and get more games under his belt.
Classy Oxford can also play in midfield, and the hope is the Bundesliga experience will boost his chances of becoming a first-team regular for his parent club.

Arsene Wenger on his transfer plans

BeIn Sports: How many players do you want to sign this summer?
“I would say maximum three.”
BeIn: How much money can you spend?
“We cannot spend as much as many other clubs because some clubs have external resources that allow them to be basically unlimited. That is not our case. But we can spend money because we have managed well the club.
“Let’s not forget that the amount of money spent is not necessarily a guarantee of success.”

Griezmann refused to be bullied into United move

Antoine Greizmann was told it was ‘now or never’ to join Manchester United - and he still chose to stay at Atletico Madrid.
According to the Sun the French star was told he should sign now or miss out on ever joining the Red Devils.
It was supposedly a conversation to get the Frenchman to sign, and occurred BEFORE Atleti’s transfer ban was upheld in the Court of Arbitration for Sport on Wednesday.
But Griezmann instead took his time to decide, and then chose to remain at Atleti following the CAS verdict - forcing United to switch targets.

Costa 'close' to Atletico switch - when their ban ends

Diego Costa is ‘very close’ to rejoining Atletico Madrid and could move in January when the La Liga side’s transfer ban expires.
The Chelsea star has longed for a move back to Spain despite firing the Blues to the title this season.
And while a transfer ban has scuppered a move this summer, Costa appears set to agree to move mid-season, report Spanish newspaper AS.
The report also details how Sevilla’s Vitolo and Malaga’s Sandro will be lined up to boost Diego Simeone’s side at the half-way stage of next season.

Gunners ready to take £4m hit and sell Lucas Perez?

Arsenal ended the season on a high with FA Cup glory at Wembley and Arsene Wenger is setting his sights on the title after penning a new two-year deal.
While focus will be on the big signings, naturally some players will be shown the exit at the Emirates.
Lucas Perez only joined the Gunners last summer in an £17m deal but his time appears to be up already, report the Independent.
It seems as if Arsenal have resigned themselves to taking a £4m loss as the report details that they will accept a £13m offer.

Liverpool transfer news and rumours: Reds looking to raid Rome

Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for Mohamed Salah with the Roma star thriving in the Italian capital since his disappointing time with Chelsea.
But the Reds have clearly set up camp in Rome over the course of the season as they have taken a liking to Lazio star Keita Balde, according to ESPN.
The Senegalese international came through the ranks at Barcelona before switching allegiance and has enjoyed a fine season for the Biancocelesti with 15 goals in 30 Serie A games.
Juventus are strongly linked with the 22-year-old as well, but Jurgen Klopp sees a potential bargain with just one year remaining on his deal.

Manchester United gossip - Go on, bid for Bale!

Manchester United may have missed out on one superstar this week in Antoine Griezmann but it appears they have been encouraged to pursue another.
Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale has been pushed down the pecking order by the form of Isco and will start on the bench in Saturday’s Champions League final.
But United have received encouraging signs that Los Blancos will consider offers for the Welsh wizard, report the Independent.
Having joined for a then record £86m, Madrid will likely demand a profit, despite his fall from grace and troubles with injuries.
Madrid would then pursue Eden Hazard or Kylian Mbappe with greater financial flexibility.
And that’s just the start of today’s daily round-up from Old Trafford.

Wenger on Arsenal duo

Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal will NOT sell either Alexis Sanchez or Mesut Ozil this summer.
The duo are both closing in on the final 12 months of their contracts at the Emirates Stadium and no agreements over a new deal as yet.
Sanchez is wanted by Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester City, while belief in Munich is growing that Bayern will land the Chilean star.
Both players are asking for in excess of £300,000-a-week to remain at the club. The duo currently each earn £140,000-a-week, and are believed to have kept a close eye on the other’s negotiations.

Grizou gets social media!

Is there a bigger troll in football than Antoine Griezmann right now.
Quite simply, the lad gets social media.
Tonight, after the week of weeks for himself, Atletico and Alexandre Lacazette, he’s tweeted this.
France won 5-0 by the way with Griezmann scoring in the rout of Paraguay.

Mourinho wants Varane reunion

Jose Mourinho will have a special eye on Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane in Saturday’s Champions League final.
The Manchester United boss is keen on signing the France international and that could open the door for a potential £50million player-cash deal involving Old Trafford keeper David de Gea.
Mourinho is desperate to strengthen his defence with centre halves his priority and he is a long-standing admirer of Varane who he signed from Lens during his time in charge at the Bernabeu.
United have made enquiries about his availability and it could also be seen as a clever game of transfer poker with Real Madrid desperate to get De Gea with the Spanish giants believing he wants to move back to his homeland.

Alexis Sanchez's future

Bayern Munich are growing increasingly confident of signing Alexis Sanchez.
The German giants have held lengthy negotiations with Sanchez’s representatives and are ready to make a huge offer for the Arsenal forward.
Sanchez, 28, has one year left on his Arsenal contract, they have offered him in excess of £275,000-a-week to stay and yet they face a desperate battle to keep him.
Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested but Arsenal would be desperate not to sell to a Premier League rival.

Salah 'agrees Liverpool move'

Mohamed Salah has agreed a £90,000-a-week contract with Liverpool, according to the Times.
However, Liverpool must still persuade Roma to cash in.
Roma have rejected a £28million bid for the Egyptian star.

Griezmann deal dead? United legend not so sure

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs isn’t convinced the Antoine Griezmann transfer saga is over just yet - fans will be very pleased to know.
The France forward has been Jose Mourinho’s top summer target, and the deal looked set to be completed during the off-season.
However, according to reports, Griezmann got in contact with the Old Trafford club to say he wouldn’t be joining after Atletico Madrid saw their transfer ban upheld.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport confirmed news of the ban, which prevents Diego Simeone’s men from being able to register new players until January.
